African Schools Digital Alliance

AfricaSDA is the Foundation network that connects African schools with one another and with technology, partners, institutions, resources and opportunities around the world. Membership is open to primary, secondary and technical schools across the continent.

A profile in the AfricaSDA directory, visible to partners, universities, funders and fellow member schools.

Priority for programmes

Member schools are considered first for digital schools projects, computer labs and lab fundraising marathons.

Student and teacher access

Pupils enter TINFO Challenges and Awards; teachers join forums, training and certification routes.

Partner introductions

Direct introductions to technology companies, NGOs, universities and diaspora professionals working in education.

Shared learning

Case studies, templates and playbooks from schools that have already digitalised.

An annual seat

A place at the yearly TINFO Conference and its panels on educational growth and digitalisation in Africa.

Joining

How a school joins

01 Register the school A head teacher or proprietor submits the school profile: location, size, current technology and priorities.

02 Review The Foundation confirms the details with the school and, where relevant, the local education authority.

03 Onboarding The school receives its member pack, directory listing and access to the programme calendar.

04 Participation The school selects the programmes it wants for the year: digital schools, a lab, challenges, awards or conferences.

Bring your school into the alliance

Registration opens on the launch weekend, 13 and 14 February 2027. Partners and sponsors can also nominate schools.
