How to take part

01 Member places Every AfricaSDA member school receives places at the annual conference as part of membership.
02 Call for sessions Educators and researchers propose panels, papers and workshops ahead of each conference.
03 Student delegates Schools nominate student delegates, with travel support available for those who need it.
04 Partners and sponsors Partner organisations host roundtables and workshops rather than sales sessions.
05 Afterwards Sessions are recorded and published so schools that could not travel still receive the substance.

The inaugural conference

The first gathering takes place on the launch weekend, 13 and 14 February 2027, alongside the opening of applications.
